ABOUT CCG
Established in 1984, Centre City Gym has been known as a "hardcore gym" since day one. if you are looking for a serious place to train CCG has everything you need.
The facility is over 8,ooo square feet and filled with cardio equipment, high quality machinery for all movements, dumbbells, free-weights, benches of all inclines, squat racks, deadlifting platforms and an Olympic weightlifting club.
Over the last 3 plus decades CCG has built a strong reputation for building strong individuals. Centre City has been the home of successful bodybuilders, weightlifters, powerlifters, and many other athletes.

OWNER/FOUNDER
ED PUOPOLO
The father of CCG, Ed Puopolo C.S.C.S.​
Ed was a successful Olympic weightlifter in the late 70's. He held the Junior American Record in the clean and jerk with 165kg/363lb in the 110kg bodyweight division. Ed continued competing at a high level throughout the 80's and into the early 90's.

Since the early 80's he has coached a multitude of high-level athletes including successful powerlifters and weightlifters.
​
Ed's knowledge and experience with strength training is unmatched in the area. He continues to train and develop competitive athletes and develop his knowledge as a coach.
